Documents required for obtaining Indian passport (original)

• Photograph - 3+5=8, white background-visa specification (35mm x 35mm)
• Birth Certificate (BC)
• School Leaving Certificate (SLC)
• 10th or 12th mark sheet OR Degree Certificate
• Current or previous Passport, if any
• Marriage Certificate
• Spouse Passport copy
• Passports and Marriage Certificate (MoM) of parents (for minors under the age of 18 years)
• School Bonafide Certificate for minor
• Election ID card
• PAN Card
• Driving license
• Ration card
• Bank passbook/Statement
• Electricity OR Telephone bills (latest and 1 year old)
• 2 house tax bills (latest and 1 year old)
• School/college Bonafide Certificate, address proof for students staying outside home place for study purpose
